The Eternal Sleep

I did this piece awhile back, but have recently revisited to try and polish it with some Spring loving. It was done both in Photoshop and Painter.

A band of three walk through a fabled land of debris and ruin. It's said that within this land Sirens call out taunts which madden all manner of men that hear them.
In their rage, these misguided souls search out the hidden hecklers that call out to them. Unheeding of the steep cavernous drops, they eventually discover only the silence of The Eternal Sleep.

A Trinity For Death

Peace, Monster, Grinning Skull.
Maybe not the likely choice for many, but visually that's what comes to mind when I consider death throughout the ages. Discuss! :P

Oye, not sure how long this one took. I had a different version of it, but since then I've revamped it a few times, sadly I'm not too sure I like this version more from the previous one, but I'm too stubborn to admit that the last couple of hours were a waist so I'm posting the new version instead!

As always, crits, comments, questions, it's all welcome
And thanks for taking the time.
then again earths gravity and exoskeletons... hmmm...

This was done a while back in PS and Painter, can't quite remember how long it took, 10 hours I think. Any crits, comments, questions are most welcome.
Peace!

Here is a messy attempt at some sort of morbid+quirky procession.
Done in about 8-10 hours, the gist of it spent on trying to not make the piece seem overly static.

Crits/Comments are certainly welcome, and thanks for taking the time!

Pffff, / I joke, I joke!
Anyways, not sure how long it took, sorry, but the early sketch was done in Painter, then transfered to Photoshop to "finalize".
I see a lot of very fit ladies depicted online, so in the spirit of breaking the mold a tad, I decided to give this one a bit more meat while still keeping her elegant.
There is a small town East of here by the name of Flush Town, renowned for its giant birds. These enormous feathered spectacles are used as artificial wind producers, powering windmills, filling sails on great ships, blowing kites ever farther.
Granted, it's not the most efficient solution to some of their energy problems, but alas, it brings in the occasional tourist... which they then feed to the birds...
You've been warned.
This piece came about while discussing something with a friend and absently doodling. Sort of a happy accident. I then worked it up in Photoshop with a hard-edged circular brush and went in for a few different textural measures.
A little bit of Painter in there too, can't live without the Painter.
